3-Year Strategic Roadmap (2025 – 2027)

The roadmap translates our long-term Vision 2035 into a clear, time-bound execution plan. Each objective is grouped under one of four strategic pillars — Standards, Accreditation, Innovation and Growth & Impact. Progress is monitored quarterly by the Executive Board and adjustments are published in an open change log.

2025 · Foundation Year
Standards
  • Establish 6 technical committees (safety, battery, ADAS, cybersecurity, lifecycle, infrastructure).
  • Publish IVS-01 rev 1.0 draft for public ballot (global crashworthiness).
Accreditation
  • Pilot audits in 3 crash-test laboratories (?? DE, ?? KR, ?? BR).
  • Finalize IAF Certified ® brand‐usage handbook.
Innovation
  • Launch an Open Data Sandbox – 1.8 bn km of anonymised driving data.
  • Fund 8 PhD fellowships on lithium-free chemistries.
Growth & Impact
  • Reach 150 organisational members across 20 countries.
  • Release first annual Transparency Ledger.
2026 · Expansion Year
Standards
  • Publish final IEB-02 Battery Safety and ICS-03 Cybersecurity standards.
  • Align with UNECE WP.29 & ISO PAS 5112 gap analysis.
Accreditation
  • Scale accreditation to 12 battery-test centres & 5 OTA service providers.
  • Launch Cybersecurity Audit Scheme (R155/R156 conformity).
  • Introduce Digital Certificate Registry (QR + blockchain hash).
Innovation
  • Deploy Battery Passport beta with 50 000 EV packs tracked.
  • Host first Mobility X-Lab Summit (EU node).
Growth & Impact
  • Open the first regional hub in Brussels (policy interface with EU institutions).
  • Reach carbon-neutral operations (Scope 1 & 2).

  • Issue Zero-Crash Benchmark Index v1.0 (global NCAP alignment).
  • Release first Smart-Infrastructure Interop API.
Accreditation
  • Launch Global Assessor Academy (ISO/IEC 17024 certified).
  • Embed Digital Conformity Blockchain pilot in 25 certificates.
Innovation
  • Field-test Shared-Energy Hubs for second-life batteries (Africa & ASEAN).
  • Publish annual Mobility Futures Foresight Report.
Growth & Impact
  • Achieve 300 organisational members & 1 000 individual experts.
  • Secure consultative status with UN ECOSOC.
