The Research & Innovation Committee scans emerging technologies and runs collaborative pilots to inform future standards and programs—turning promising concepts into validated practices ready for scale.

It brings together R&D leaders, innovators and academics to design experiments, share results and evaluate transferability. The committee publishes horizon-scan reports and pilot study outcomes with objective metrics.

Deliverables include technology briefs, validation protocols, pilot plans and decision notes that guide the Federation’s roadmap and other committees’ workstreams.
