Prepare the Correct Application Route

Begin with the programme that matches your real activity, then define a precise scope and assemble objective evidence. Membership and submission are administrative steps; neither predetermines a technical decision.

Membership and the application record

Where the selected programme requires IAF membership as an administrative condition, the membership must be active before a formal grant. Membership does not waive evidence requirements, create mark rights or guarantee a favourable outcome.

The member-area form creates and tracks the online application record. Programme-specific PDFs below define the controlled scope, declarations and evidence pack that may also be required.

Application sequence

1 — Select the programme and route

Choose AEAR, CAAR or the correct sector recognition programme. Use the applicant’s actual work and intended claim.

2 — Define the exact scope

Record the legal entity, sites, activities, methods or programmes, delivery modes, exclusions and relevant versions.

3 — Complete self-evaluation

Map each applicable requirement to implemented practice and stable evidence. Planned capability must remain clearly separate.

4 — Build the evidence pack

Include original operating records, competence evidence, adverse cases, internal review, corrective action and controlled scope forms.

5 — Submit the online request

Use the member-area form to open the case and describe what you do, the scope sought and the evidence currently available.

6 — Confirm assessment planning

Eligibility, completeness, conflicts, assessor competence, access, witnesses, sites and case samples are confirmed before assessment.
