The International Automotive Federation (IAF) is continuing the review of membership applications following recent federation meetings and coordination activities.
Applications considered during the recent meeting period have been transferred to the General Secretariat and relevant federation bodies for further evaluation and administrative coordination.
Review process continues
Membership applications were among the institutional matters discussed during the federation's recent meetings, including the 2nd Ordinary General Assembly held in Istanbul on 16 May 2026.
The initial discussions provided an opportunity to review applicant profiles, membership categories, sector representation and possible areas of participation within the federation.
The review of an application does not represent automatic approval. Applications continue through the relevant administrative and institutional stages before a final decision is made.

Applications forwarded for continued evaluation
Following the recent meetings, relevant application records and review notes were forwarded to the General Secretariat for continued processing.
Where additional technical or sector input is required, an application may also be referred to the relevant committee or responsible federation representative.
This approach supports a consistent review process across different membership categories and helps ensure that each application is considered within the appropriate context.
