AutoSafe Test Results & Ratings
Programme basis: IAF AUTOSAFE First Edition
The proposed record model follows the twelve-domain, 1,000-point framework, every-domain floors, mandatory gates and configuration controls in IAF-SS-V1. The current edition is not authorization to publish ratings.
No AUTOSAFE ratings have been issued
IAF AUTOSAFE First Edition is a Draft for Technical Review, not an adopted operational rating programme. Annex F release items—including the category profile, test methods, scoring functions, laboratory correlation, competent facilities, operational records and formal adoption—must be closed before any public vehicle rating, certificate or label can be issued.
What a future rating record must show
When the programme is operationally released, each public record is intended to identify the named vehicle generation and controlled configuration family, market, safety package, powertrain, seating and relevant software; show the protocol edition, twelve-domain results, gate findings, class and current record status; and provide a verification reference. A result for one package or configuration does not automatically apply to another vehicle carrying the same model, platform or brand name.
Class F is not the same as Unrated
A to E are qualifying assessed-performance classes requiring the applicable total, every-domain floor, mandatory gates and class-specific requirements. Class F is an adverse assessed result below the qualifying E conditions or following a valid common-gate failure. A vehicle with no complete valid assessment remains Unrated; missing evidence or an unfinished application must not be presented as Class F.
